Description:
The site is looking to expand its provider pool.
Looking for someone who is interested in both clinic and call coverage.
Monday to Friday will be hybrid coverage with either a half-day clinic or elective OR and inpatient coverage.
If doing a half-day clinic, it typically runs from 10 AM to 12 PM, lunch break, and 1 PM to 3 PM.
Saturday and Sunday will be inpatient coverage only.
Average number of phone consults is 5-10 per day.
Local specialists are available via phone, along with nursing staff and urology tech.
The patient population consists mainly of adults, with very few pediatric patients.
Inpatient and outpatient coverage is required.
Active consults require rounding.
There are no admissions per shift as admissions are managed by hospitalists.
The facility trauma level is 4.
Fellowship completion in Urology is preferred.
Specialty skills preferred include advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, and nephrectomies.
Other preferred skills include robotic surgery, incontinence procedures, and TRUS biopsies.
