We are looking for Medical Assistant II to join our clinics! Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, our Medical Assistant II plans and organizes the work of the Medical Assistant staff on their team and within their Community Health Care clinic. They assist with resolving operational problems, improvement of quality outcomes, and assessment of clinical workflow. In addition, they assist with training activities, data collection, policy and procedures implementation and workflow changes related to the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model and value-based payment systems. As a lead, they coordinate the activities of Medical Assistants on their team or within their Community Health Care clinic plus checks the work of Medical Assistants and aids and instruction as needed, particularly with pre-visit planning, use of standing orders, and accurate documentation of clinical guidelines. They also participate in QPI projects, QA activities, data entry and tracking for programs, routine staff meetings, in-services, and team-building activities. In addition, our Medical Assistant IIโ€™s perform the duties of Medical Assistants as needed including, but are not limited to, preparing patients for examination, collecting specimens, processing referrals, ordering supplies and cleaning equipment, plus other duties as assigned.

We have a $1,500 Sign on Bonus available for this position.
