Job description

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $18.00hr - $21.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
  • One year customer service experience.
  • Keyboard/data entry and PC experience preferred.
  • Medical Terminology knowledge is helpful but not required.
  • Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and effectively communicate to customers and peer groups.
  • Demonstrates good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
  • Able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise consistent, independent, sound judgment.
  • Covid vaccination required; medical exemptions only.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all PSC front office duties including customer service, data entry, insurance billing and payments, and problem resolution.
  • Follow HIPAA regulations and order office supplies.
  • Greet customers appropriately and treat all customers in a courteous manner.
  • Assist patients with kiosk sign-in and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Contact clients to obtain patient orders.
  • Handle customer inquiries.
  • Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures including Safety, Compliance, and Quality Assurance manuals.
  • Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, faxing, preparing mail, and data entry.
  • Adhere to departmental and company policies and attendance guidelines.
  • Answer the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner using established scripts.
  • Use established protocols for reporting customer complaints.
  • Ensure HIPAA Compliance regulations are followed and use test translation tables.
  • Complete all required training and assist with stocking of supplies.
  • Complete special projects as requested by supervisor or manager.
