Job Title: Member Data Verification Assistant (Contract)

Industry: Insurance / Financial Services

Location (City, State): Arlington, VA (on a military base)

Assignment Type: Contract (3–6 Months)

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 / Per hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | 40 hours/week | Fully onsite with potential for a hybrid schedule later in the assignment based on business needs.

Our client is seeking two temporary Member Data Verification Assistants to support a large-scale member database improvement initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong customer service, data entry, and communication skills who enjoy working in a collaborative office environment.

Job Description

The Member Data Verification Assistant will support a temporary data integrity project by reaching out to members via outbound phone calls to confirm and update account information. This role also assists with administrative tasks, record maintenance, and document processing while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable speaking with customers over the phone throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact members by phone to verify and update account information.
  • Accurately enter and maintain member data within the organization's CRM and internal systems.
  • Follow established call guides, procedures, and documentation standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Deliver professional, courteous, and high-quality customer service during every interaction.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive personal information.
  • Assist with mail processing, scanning, digital file management, and other administrative support duties.
  • Respond to general member questions and provide accurate information regarding available services and resources.
  • Support ongoing data cleanup and special projects while managing multiple priorities.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and ensure continuity of daily operations.
  • Participate in cross-training and assist with additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 1–2 years of professional customer service, administrative support, or data entry experience.
  • Previous experience working with CRM or membership database systems is required; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with confidence making outbound calls.
