Job Summary:
Our site located in Midland, MI is hiring immediately for entry level Material Handler roles.
As a material handler you will be responsible for the safe and timely reception, loading, transport, and storage of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies. In addition you will be responsible for the packaging and labeling of finished product and obtain samples for laboratory testing. This position operates on a rotating schedule.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Package and label finished product per work instructions.
  • Obtain required samples of finished product during packaging operations for laboratory testing.
  • Operate a fork truck to receive and stage raw materials, packaging, and other supplies.
  • Properly dispose of waste materials.
  • Observe safety procedures and protocols.
Education & Experience:
Required:
  • A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • A valid US driver's license.
  • Willing and able to work a 12 hour shift, rotating schedule including holidays.
  • Willing and able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
In addition, successful candidate must meet the following physical qualifications, with or without accommodation:
  • Willing and able to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE), such as steel toes, hardhat, Nomex protective eyewear, face shields, and arc protective clothing.
  • Willing and able to lift and move objects that weigh up to 55 lbs.
  • Willing and able to perform repetitive movement; including climbing several flights of stairs multiple times per day, stand, stoop, and bend.
Preferred:
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
