Job Description
A day in the life:
This entry-level Materials Management role performs all tasks from inbound material receiving to point-of-use delivery in Manufacturing. This individual may be physically active, operate powered industrial vehicles and have a customer-oriented mindset.
  1. Unload, verify, receive, and put away bulk material and packages
  2. Gather material, fill bins, and deliver to point of use locations
  3. Transfer materials from process area to assembly area
  4. Complete all ERP inventory transactions using mobile device or computer
  5. Maintain material storage areas to 6S standard
  6. Escalate to area leader when any safety, quality or process standard cannot be met
  7. Recommend safety or process improvement ideas using internal CI submission tool
  8. Comply with all policies/procedures, quality standards, and safety and regulatory requirements.
  9. Work independently or as a team to satisfy internal customer demand
  10. Understand and comply with all ISO documentation/policies
  11. Comply with all company policies and procedures, quality standards and safety/regulatory requirements
  12. Must be powered industrial vehicle certified
  13. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
  • General understanding of material handling
  • Basic computer skills
  • Powered industrial vehicle certification
  • ERP experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Consistently lift and move packages, boxes, bins, and skids of material.
  • Frequently stand, walk, reach within hands and arm's length, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Lift up to 40 pounds
