We are hiring for a Full Time Material Handler. ย 1st shift available, Monday - Friday. ย 


As a Material Handler, you will contribute to the success of our organization by assisting shop team members with a variety of tasks including receiving, shipping, and material handling.


On a daily basis, as a Material Handler, you will...

  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
  • Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping or bracing to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  • Organize and store received inventory in appropriate areas.
  • Delivers materials to the proper inventory location, department, or personnel.
  • Select materials from inventory to prepare kits by project, ensuring kit is complete and contains correct materials.
  • Assembles crates to be used for shipping and compress cardboard for recycling purposes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must hold valid driver's license with ability to travel to other work locations.
  • Demonstrate computer literacy, to include use of Microsoft Outlook.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in shipping or receiving areas.
  • Previous experience using hand and power tools.


Material Handler Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Work environment is light industrial, with exposure to a moderate level of noise. Sitting, standing, and bending at waist for up to 3 consecutive hours at time. May need to climb ladders, and reach above shoulder height for extended periods of time. May be exposed to fumes and airborne particles. Must be able to move freely between aisles of parts, equipment, shelving units. Must be able to climb stairs. Must be able to carry or lift at least 50 pounds.
