In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining an organized warehouse by safely receiving, identifying, storing, and staging commercial doors, frames, hardware, and related products. Position –Material handler

Job Location –Oshkosh, WI

Starting Date –ASAP

Employment Term –Temp to hire

Employment Type –Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift

Starting Pay –$23/hr

Benefits –Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education –High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience –At least 2 years of experience




Responsibilities

  • Receiving & Inspection: Unload and break down incoming truckloads; inspect, identify, tag, and properly store incoming materials.
  • Organization & Staging: Sort, organize, and stage commercial doors, frames, and hardware for project needs, deliveries, and warehouse stock.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory counts, replenish stock bins, and keep storage areas clearly labeled and accessible.
  • Deliveries & Facilities Support: Assist with local deliveries as needed, keep the warehouse clean and organized, and assist with seasonal facilities maintenance (such as snow removal).
  • Safety & Quality: Follow all company safety procedures and immediately report damaged or missing shipments to supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Previous forklift operation experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to safely lift and move heavy commercial materials and operate handling equipment.
  • Prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or handling commercial construction materials.
