Material Handler
Auburn, WA Millwork
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for the movement, handling, storage, and organization of materials and finished products throughout our facility. The ideal candidate is motivated, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
This position offers hands-on training and an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills within a manufacturing and production setting.
Key Responsibilities

  • Safely handle, move, lift, carry, and stack raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Operate both motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, including equipment requiring specialized training and certification.
  • Ensure materials are transported efficiently to support production and operational goals.
  • Follow established procedures and work instructions to maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Learn and apply operational processes through on-the-job training provided by supervisors and experienced team members.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Attend required safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve workplace safety and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Entry-level position; no previous experience required.
  • Willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and climb as required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in a production environment.
Work Environment
This position is performed in a manufacturing and production environment and may involve exposure to:
  • Varying temperatures
  • Dust and airborne particles
  • Moving mechanical equipment
  • Elevated noise levels
  • Industrial materials and chemicals
