Job description

Job Summary:
Nakupuna Federal is seeking an Integrated Master Scheduler and Risk Analyst to support program execution within PEO C4I’s Ship Integration Program Office. This role involves maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule and assisting in risk management to provide insights on schedule performance and risk status for leadership decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Support development, maintenance, and update of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in alignment with program objectives.
• Integrate schedule inputs from PIPMs, IPMs, and functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
• Identify schedule dependencies and assist in analysis of critical path and potential conflicts.
• Conduct routing schedule analysis to identify risks, delays, and performance issues.
• Support development and maintenance of the program office Risk Register.
• Assist in integrating risks across PIPMs, IPMs, and functional teams.
• Maintain risk data within designated tools and systems.
• Support documentation of risks, issues, and opportunities, ensuring completeness and consistency.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to collect schedule and risk inputs.
• Assist in development of mitigation tracking and follow-up actions.
• Prepare reports and visualizations to communicate schedule status and risk posture.
• Support scenario analysis and forecasting activities.
• Align schedule and risk data with governance forums and reporting cycles.
• Identify discrepancies in schedule or risk data and elevate for resolution.
• Proactively monitor emerging risks and schedule impacts and elevate to leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Working knowledge of Integrated Master Scheduling principles
• Experience with scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera
• Familiarity with risk management practices and terminology
• Basic knowledge of DoD risk management approaches, including RIO concepts
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends or issues
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
• Ability to operate proactively and elevate issues early
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, program management, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years supporting program scheduling, planning, or risk management.
• Experience supporting development and maintenance of schedules or program analysis products.
• Active Secret clearance required or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
Preferred:
• Awareness of Risk Management Framework (RMF) concepts
• Experience supporting DoD, NAVWAR, NAVSEA, or similar organizations
• Prior military experience is highly valued, particularly in roles involving planning, operations, or coordination such as: Operations Specialist or Planner roles, Staff planning roles within strike groups, type commands, or program officers, Acquisition or program office support roles
• Familiarity with Navy C4I systems, surface ship operations, or Fleet-level processes is desired and may strengthen candidate competitiveness.
• Relevant certifications or training that may strengthen candidacy include: Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM), PMI Scheduling Professional (entry-level familiarity), Defense Acquisition Workforce certifications, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
