Trainer assistant- Manufacturing
Location: Houston, TX 77064
Business Unit: CESBG
Job Classification: Non - Exempt
Shifts: 1st- 06:00am-2:00pm
2nd- 2:00pm-10:00pm
SUMMARY
The Bilingual Production Trainer assistant twill support employee orientation, and ongoing training within the manufacturing facility. This role will work closely with Production, Safety and Quality teams to ensure employees are properly trained on company policies, safety procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking in front of groups, presenting PowerPoint training materials, and communicating effectively in both English and Spanish.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding sessions
  • Present training materials using PowerPoint and other visual aids
  • Train employees on manufacturing processes, safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards
  • Partner with Production, Safety and Quality teams to support workforce training needs
  • Assist with tracking employee training records and attendance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through coaching and hands-on training
  • Observe employees on the production floor to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Help ensure employees understand and follow GMP, safety, and quality requirements
  • Observe employees on the production floor and provide guidance as needed
  • Maintain a positive and professional training environment
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to new and existing employees to close skill gaps.
  • Assist with updating training documents, presentations, and procedures
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bilingual in English Spanish required
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and conducting classroom-style training
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and basic Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including Production and Quality
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, production, environment preferred
  • Experience with Training or presentations
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications are a plus
  • Ability to engage and motivate employees during training sessions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style to different learning levels
