Job description

We have a client that is in need of entry level Operators in Houston, TX .


CONTRACT-HIRE (LONG TERM/W2)


Rotating schedule (4 days one week/3nights the next- 12 hr. shifts- OT), $19 per hour ($21 once fully onboarded), we offer benefits.


The purpose of this position is to support the operator II position by loading and unloading of all rolls and following instructions provide by them for up to 2 production lines. It is an entry level position. In this position, the main focus will be reliability, consistency and working safely.


Essential Job Functions

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Maintain 5S Program
  • Unload and load all rolls for up to 2 geomembrane production lines
  • Manage the rod line, grinder and other support equipment
  • Ensure all rolls are labeled correctly and placed in the proper location


Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience required
  • 1 – 2 years of work experience in manufacturing, preferred
  • Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
  • Ability to read and interpret production schedules, instructions, and procedures
  • Ability to move around the plant and property to work on various assignments
  • Ability to operate cranes and roll handling equipment
  • Ability to use physical effort to move product
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to climb to other levels and conduct work on that level
  • Ability to work in a plant environment with exposure to heat
  • Works 12 hour shifts on a rotating shift basis
