NOTE - We have three open positions for Production Technicians - Packing on third shift from 11:30pm -7:00am, Monday - Friday.
Employees who work this shift receive 10% shift differential on top of base wages!

K-FLEX manufactures thermal and acoustic insulation and jacketing systems that allow for an efficient installation process and deliver reliable and lasting performance on pipes, ducts, vessels and equipment for a wide range of applications, including HVAC, Refrigeration and Industrial Process Systems.
About the role:
The K-Flex Production Technician is a role that performs entry level tasks involved in the manufacturing of rubber insulation and engineered foam products. This individual follows standard work methods in a safe and efficient manner to deliver quality product on time. The Production Technician is responsible for operations such as packing pipes, sheets, or rolls according to customer specifications.
Day-to-day Job Duties
โ€ข Reads and understands the daily production plan.
โ€ข Track production on communication board
โ€ข Operate various machinery such as box former, printer, etc. safely.
โ€ข Pack finished goods into appropriate packaging/boxes and place correct label on packaging.
โ€ข Stack, pile, place finished goods on pallet, and prepare goods for shipment.
โ€ข Check to ensure boxes are put together well and damage free.
โ€ข Verify quality of product being placed in boxes.
โ€ข Remove defective products or materials, placing them in pre-determined scrap pile.
โ€ข Seal and label boxes.
โ€ข Communicate with logistics operators so that boxes can be picked up and taken to the warehouse in a timely manner.
โ€ข Troubleshoot simple issues in the workflow and correct
โ€ข Ensure internal and external specifications are met.
โ€ข Report any issues or concerns to management
โ€ข Maintain clean and orderly work area
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
โ€ข High School Diploma or GED preferred.
โ€ข Prior manufacturing experience including one year of operating machinery, preferred.
โ€ข Ability to read, understand, and follow safety and SOP information.
โ€ข Ability to perform basic math calculations
โ€ข Possess the ability to work effectively with others

โ€ข Good attendance required - per policy outline in Employee Handbook.
Physical Demands:
โ€ข Regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, walk, bend.
โ€ข Use fingers, hands, arms, and legs to lift, reach, push and pull, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
โ€ข Exposure to moving mechanical parts, hot objects, hot & cold environmental temperatures, and moderate noise.
