We are seeking an Entry-Level Machine Operator to join our production team in the Bronx, NY. This role is perfect for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and comfortable working with basic math and measurements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Job Description

As an Entry-Level Machine Operator, you will learn how to operate both computerized and traditional machines to cut and process materials. You’ll be trained to read measurements, follow cutting plans, and ensure materials are processed accurately and efficiently.

No advanced experience is required- just a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and basic math skills.

Responsibilities
  • Operate saws and basic production machinery (training provided)
  • Measure materials accurately using rulers, tape measures, and calculators
  • Perform basic math calculations (example: Length × Width × Height)
  • Follow instructions and cutting plans to process materials correctly
  • Learn to read simple blueprints and measurement specifications
  • Inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Assist with basic machine upkeep and maintenance
  • Work with team members and supervisors to keep production running smoothly
  • Adapt to changes in production needs throughout the shift
