Hill Bros Logistics is hiring a Capacity Coordinator to support our dry van and reefer freight operations in Omaha, NE. This is a fast-paced, relationship-driven role where you'll work with carrier partners, coordinate shipments, and help solve problems in real time. We're hiring for an entry-level position-ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, fast-paced work, and learning the logistics industry from the ground up. If you've worked in a busy restaurant, call center, warehouse, team-based environment, or the military, your skills may translate perfectly.

Requirements

What You'll Do

Make daily phone and email contact with trucking carriers to match freight to available capacity

Negotiate transportation rates and secure reliable carriers

Track and trace loads to ensure on-time pickup and delivery

Build relationships with carriers and identify opportunities to grow our network

Enter shipment updates and carrier information into our systems accurately and in real-time

Collaborate with account managers and logistics coordinators to deliver great service


What You Bring

College education - with a focus or at least interest in business, logistics, or supply chain management

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized under pressure

Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and learning logistics systems

Friendly, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to grow

Previous logistics and TMW Suite software experience is a plus-but not required
