Job Purpose
The Plant Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily logistics operations within the plant, ensuring the efficient movement of materials and finished products in line with production schedules. This role involves supervising logistics staff, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily logistics activities, including material handling, storage, inventory management, and outbound shipments within the plant.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials from receiving to production and finished goods to distribution, aligning with production schedules.
  • Manage and mentor logistics staff, ensuring proper training, safety practices, and efficient performance of tasks.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless logistics operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to optimize processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in logistics operations within the plant.

Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with some supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience with Just-in-time sequence processes.
  • Experience in a large scale production environment.
  • Experience with Kanban processes.
  • Experience with SAP (S/4 HANA and EWM).

Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is $63,750 - $85,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
