Summary
We are looking for a receptionist to join our team! Successful candidates will be the face of the Boston office, working directly with staff, and performing a variety of administrative support duties. He or she will be organized, professional, responsible and capable of working with limited supervision as they will be committed to help us meet our clients' needs.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Compensation: $22/hr
Responsibilities
  • Manage reception desk and perform a wide range of support duties to attorneys and staff.
  • Welcome all clients and visitors to the firm, providing initial information regarding services and availability.
  • Operate a busy multi-line phone system, routing calls to appropriate individuals and/or departments.
  • Record all information provided by clients, and forward it to lawyers, or legal assistants.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Oversee the obtainment and storage of office supplies and equipment, while creating and maintaining an effective liaison with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensuring that conference and shared spaces are tidy and ready for all meetings.
  • Assisting attorneys, paralegals, and other staff with various clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • Entry level experience working in an office setting, preferably in the legal environment.
  • Knowledge of general office practices.
  • Skill in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated skill in effective oral and written communication.
  • Skill in exercising sound judgment and effective decision making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ProDoc.
