Tesoro Group is looking for a Front Desk Admin/Entry Level Leasing Agent to join one of our clients team at a property in Mounds View, MN (55112). This role will be working with a market rate property. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience as a front desk administrative assistant and at be motivated to get into property management, be able to work independently and meet deadlines. This role is contracted and expected to go 90 days, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

This role will be working with (1) community with 385 market rate units and 3 stories.

Salary: targeting $20-24/hour DOQ. This role is contracted and expected to go 30-90 days, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM - with occasional weekends as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Tenant Communication: Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns via email, chat, or phone in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • Application Processing: Assist with the screening and processing of rental applications, including conducting thorough background and credit checks on potential tenants.
  • Lease Coordination: Coordinate lease agreements, including preparing, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy of contracts. Obtain necessary signatures and distribute copies to relevant parties.
  • Office Organization: Maintain an organized and efficient office environment, ensuring all records, documents, and supplies are properly managed and accessible.
  • Move-In Coordination: Oversee the move-in process, including coordinating utility switches, collecting renter's insurance, and ensuring all required documents are completed and submitted.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work closely with the maintenance team and external vendors to schedule and oversee necessary repairs, maintenance, and property improvements.
  • Posting Notices: Prepare and post tenant notices as required, ensuring compliance with property policies and regulations.

Position Requirements:

  • Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in person-facing/customer service/administrative role.
  • Knowledge of property management, real estate and closing deals is required.
  • Must possess the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Must have intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintain professional office environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check.
