Brief Overview:

The Inside Sales Associate is an entry-level role within the Sales Operations Inside Sales team. This individual provides support to the Inside Sales team, assisting with quoting, order processing, and other administrative tasks necessary to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. The Inside Sales Associate will work closely with Inside Sales Representatives to learn the internal processes and systems while developing foundational knowledge of the company's go-to-market strategy. This role is designed to provide the necessary training and experience to develop into an Inside Sales Representative, with a focus on mastering operational tasks and providing support to team members.

Responsibilities Include:

Operational Support:

Assist with quoting, order processing, and product information requests from customers.

Provide administrative support to Inside Sales Representatives, including tracking order status and handling basic customer inquiries.

Learn and apply the use of internal systems and tools to assist with order management and customer requirements.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and support customer needs.

Support the onboarding and training of new hires by assisting with process documentation and task management.

Learning & Development:

Develop a foundational understanding of key internal systems, processes, and company tools.

Gain knowledge of company products, services, and market strategies to assist with quoting and order management.

Participate in internal training programs to develop the skills necessary for progression to the Inside Sales Representative role.

Must have a passion for learning and continued education regarding our go-to-market strategy, our processes and the Information Technology industry

Qualifications:

  • B.A., Business, Finance or other related field or equivalent work experience within the IT industry
  • Minimum of two years sales or sales support experience in the information technology industry
  • Proficient PC Skills (MS Office Suite)
  • Ability to effectively utilize WWT internal systems, tools and processes
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel as required meeting team and departmental goals (<25%)

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $47,600 to $59,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
