Job description

Memphis Fence Company is looking to add some enthusiastic, eager, team players to our team. We are looking to fill entry level labor positions. These positions do have growth opportunities for future advancements in the company. Installing fence is not easy work so applicants must be able to perform physical labor, outdoors, in the elements. We do use modern equipment to make the job easier, but team members are still required to lift and carry products, dig holes, use hand tools, etc.

If you are interested in working outside, using tools and heavy equipment to create something from nothing this is an industry to try.

Duties to include:

  • Assist others with installation of various types of fence and gates
  • Dig holes for post installation
  • Carry material being installed or removed
  • Assist with loading and unloading material from trucks
  • Use hand tools to stretch and fasten fence in place
  • Complete daily reports including tasks and time
  • Any other duties deemed necessary

Requirements:

  • Must be able to show up to work on time every day
  • Must be able to lift and carry 100#
  • Must be able to work with others and learn a trade
  • References are required for any experience

Nice to Have:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Fence experience
  • Experience with skid steer

Team members report to our office by 7:00am Monday – Friday. Crews leave in company vehicles and travel to job sites across the Mid-South. On occasion, crews will travel to install fence.

Hours are 7:00 – 4:30 Monday – Friday. Occasional weekend work is required when jobs are behind schedule.


References must be provided for any experience.
