Job description

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Open to entry level workers (1+ years warehouse experience is a plus).
  • Manual labor experience preferred (success seen with construction, landscaping, concrete work, etc.).
  • Pallet jack experience is a plus, but training is available onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Place blankets on cooler pallets.
  • Deliver pallets to correct dock and location for loaders.
  • Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.

Nice to Have:

  • Become certified to operate pallet jack.
  • Chance to convert to FTE (including day 1 health benefits).
  • Culture is important at the organization (acknowledgements, pre-shift huddles, division/regional recognitions, weekly call outs, competitions).

Skills:

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to read load diagrams.
  • Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.

Qualification And Education:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Work in different temperatures including a cool dock (70% of the time in ambient room temp, 30% of the time or less on the cool dock which is 36-42 degrees).
  • Little to no lifting involved.
