IT Help Desk Technician

Location: Erlanger, KY (On-site, occasional travel to Cincinnati site)
Pay Rate: $30/hr (W2)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Duration: 6 months (possible full-time conversion)


Job Summary

Seeking a motivated IT Help Desk Technician to support on-site and remote IT operations at our Erlanger, KY facility. The ideal candidate will provide Tier 1 technical support, manage daily help desk tickets, and ensure seamless operation of IT systems critical to our manufacturing and business environments. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on IT work, troubleshooting, and working directly with end users.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for 150+ users across manufacturing and office environments.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, business software, and security tools.

  • Set up and deploy desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.

  • Maintain documentation of service tickets, resolutions, and configurations.

  • Assist with user training and promote IT best practices.

  • Support cybersecurity measures, including software updates and password policy compliance.


Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role.

  • Strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and general networking fundamentals.

  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.) preferred.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

  • Occasional travel to the Cincinnati site required.


Education & Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
