International Material Handler | Henderson, NV


Nexeo Staffing is looking for an experienced International Material Handler to join a high-performing warehouse and manufacturing team in Henderson, NV. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a warehouse professional with international shipping, import/export documentation, forklift, and reach truck experience.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, international shipping documents, and import/export paperwork, along with knowledge of trade compliance requirements. This is not an entry-level international shipping position; candidates must already have relevant international shipping and documentation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process commercial invoices, packing lists, and international shipping documentation.
  • Complete documentation for international import and export shipments.
  • Review shipping documents for accuracy and compliance with international trade requirements.
  • Follow applicable air, ocean, and hazardous materials shipping regulations.
  • Support compliance with U.S. Customs, FDA, and other applicable import/export requirements.
  • Maintain accurate trade compliance and regulatory documentation.
  • Load and unload trailers, containers, and international freight.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and proper documentation.
  • Prepare international shipments through proper packaging, crating, labeling, and securing of cargo.
  • Safely operate forklifts, including reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems such as WMS and SAP to track shipments and inventory.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and material tracking.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including documentation for hazardous materials when applicable.
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures and international shipping requirements.


Qualifications

  • Previous international shipping and import/export documentation experience required.
  • Experience creating commercial invoices and packing lists required.
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and trade compliance.
  • Recent experience operating a reach truck.
  • Forklift experience and ability to meet required certification standards.
  • Previous warehouse shipping and receiving experience.
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers and containers.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners, WMS, SAP, or similar inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate shipping documentation.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to meet applicable pre-employment background and drug-screening requirements.
    • Preferred:
      • 49 CFR – Hazardous Materials Regulations
      • IMDG – International Maritime Dangerous Goods
      • IATA – International Air Transport Association


Pay

$19.00-$22.00 per hour

  • $19.00/hour during the approximately 3-week training period.
  • $22.00/hour once successfully assigned to the regular shift.

Schedule

Full Time | Wednesday-Saturday | 6:00 AM-5:00 PM
