Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to begin their career in the construction industry while gaining hands-on experience in estimating, blueprint reading, and project coordination. The Entry-Level Estimator will assist with reviewing project documents, preparing take-offs, and supporting the estimating team throughout the bidding process.
Responsibilities
  • Review project plans, specifications, and client communications to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Assist in preparing material take-offs and cost estimates using estimating software and company procedures.
  • Support the estimating team with proposals, bid submissions, and pricing breakdowns.
  • Help identify potential project risks, cost impacts, and scheduling concerns.
  • Respond to requests for pricing updates, value engineering options, scope clarifications, and other estimating-related tasks.
  • Maintain organized project files, estimate documents, and bid records.
  • Collaborate with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing and project information.
  • Continuously learn company SOPs, estimating methods, and construction processes.
