Job description

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire an Inbound Sales Representative to join our Small Fleet team, within our Comdata division. This position falls under our North American Trucking line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential prospects, qualifying the prospect and completing the sales cycle to finalize evaluation of that prospect, and completion of agreement. You will report directly to Manager of Small Fleet and regularly collaborate with North American Trucking inside sales team.

As an Inbound Sales Representative, you will be expected to work in office location environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace in office and home office

  • Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Scheduling, allocating workloads, training, counseling, establishing goals and benchmarks, monitoring progress versus established goals
  • Performing initial contact by email or phone to potential prospects
  • Developing inside sales selling techniques
  • Initiating and completing research on new prospects in specific vertical markets
  • Obtaining complete and accurate customer contact information and other details as necessary
  • Entering all information in prospect database
  • Evaluating prospects to determine their potential
  • Completing presentation of appropriate program to potential prospects
  • Completing sales process with potential prospects that includes: initial call qualification, close of sale, start up and account development
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Inside Sales Manager or Vice President of Inside Sales

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred
  • 1+ years of proven sales success is preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
  • Exhibit professional skills and relate well with others
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written form
  • Illustrate an outgoing personality and demonstrate personal confidence
  • Character makeup should be appropriate for sales position based on standard SPQ test
  • Must be able to work on numerous projects at once
