Job description

Position Overview
We are seeking for a motivated and dependable FORMER H2B Lawn Maintenance Technician from EL SALVADOR to join our team in maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial outdoor spaces. This position involves lawn care, landscape installation, irrigation maintenance, and general groundskeeping. Successful candidates must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, perform physically demanding tasks, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine lawn maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, aerating, dethatching, mulching, and weeding.
  • Install and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, sod, and other landscape features according to landscape plans.
  • Prepare planting areas by spreading topsoil, mulch, straw, or other materials as needed.
  • Install and maintain irrigation and sprinkler systems.
  • Prune and trim trees, shrubs, hedges, and plants to promote healthy growth and appearance.
  • Remove leaves, litter, debris, and other waste from landscaped areas.
  • Maintain sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and flower beds, including seasonal snow removal and salt application when required.
  • Install decorative landscape elements such as rock gardens, drainage systems, ponds, and retaining walls.
  • Operate landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, and other powered tools.
  • Operate company vehicles, work trucks, and utility trailers safely when required.
  • Follow company safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working condition.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
  • Perform other landscape maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Previously held an H2B Visa.
  • Minimum of 3 months of full-time verifiable experience in landscaping, lawn maintenance, groundskeeping, or a related outdoor labor position.
  • Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, including split shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime when required.
  • Experience operating landscaping equipment and power tools is preferred.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1) required.
  • Must be citizen residing in El Salvador during the recruitment process.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid passport with a minimum of 12 months validity remaining.
  • Must not have an overstay on a U.S. tourist visa.
  • Must not have any record of illegal immigration in the United States.
  • Must provide a Certificate of No Criminal Record (Constancia de Antecedentes Penales).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
