Job description

Does the feel of warm soap suds on your hands make you feel happy? Do you enjoy being in charge… of keeping stuff clean? Do you feel the Force calling you? Then we have the right position for you!

Santikos is looking for Dishwashers to provide our guests with exceptional service through outstanding cleanliness at our Palladium location.

What would I be doing in this position?

  • Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas. (You will be the hero of the entire kitchen team.)
  • Load and unload dishwashing machines. (Easy stuff.)
  • Wash specific items by hand, such as cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china. (Those items need a little extra TLC.)
  • Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately.
  • Set up workstations before meal preparation begins. (It’s always best to be prepared!)
  • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours. (Our guests like using clean stuff… all the time.)
  • Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical or performance issues. (Make those machines work!)
  • Remove garbage regularly.
  • Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor. (No one likes to work in a dirty place.)

What education or experience do I need to have to qualify?

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Some work experience as a dishwasher or waitstaff preferred
  • Hands on experience with industrial washing machines preferred but not required

What skills, abilities, and knowledge do I need to be successful in this position?

  • Flexibility with scheduling – ability to work holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Be able to listen up and follow instructions and sanitation rules
  • Great can-do attitude and willingness to work
