The IBM Storage Solutions Team works with strategic ISV and OEM partners to expand the value and marketability of IBM Storage technologies through collaborative solution development and go-to-market initiatives.

Your role and responsibilities
The Storage Client Solutions Engineering Intern role is designed for students pursuing a technical degree who are interested in developing expertise in enterprise storage, hybrid cloud infrastructure, AI-enabled data platforms, and modern IT architectures. This internship provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers, product leaders, and technology partners to support solution development, testing, and customer-focused innovation.
This is an opportunity to gain practical experience with how IBM Storage solutions help organizations manage data for AI workloads, mission-critical applications, hybrid cloud environments, and emerging technologies. Throughout the internship, you will build technical skills, contribute to real-world projects, and develop an understanding of solution engineering and partner ecosystems within IBM Infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist senior engineers with research, technical discovery activities, and customer requirements gathering.
  • Support the development of technical demonstrations, presentations, and solution-related materials.
  • Participate in lab activities, PoC deployments, solution testing, and validation exercises.
  • Help document solution architectures, configuration guides, best practices, and technical findings.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge assets and reusable solution content.
