Job description

Role Overview

Provide operational support to managers, supervisors, Mortgage Loan Officers, processors, and closers to help complete essential mortgage tasks while reducing risk for the organization and its members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with new loan setup, including document indexing, ordering, validation, and system updates while ensuring compliance.
  • Review and organize loan documents received via email, fax, and third parties.
  • Contact members to gather basic information (e.g., contact details, availability) and provide updates to support a positive experience.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent notes for all member interactions and account activity.
  • Track and update tasks and action items in internal systems.
  • Follow up with members to collect outstanding documents and provide loan status updates.
  • Review daily production reports and take appropriate action when needed.
  • Work with internal teams, agencies, and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit reports for tracking and performance purposes.
  • Identify process improvements and recommend ways to increase efficiency.
  • Support team members by providing guidance and training when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal regulations and company policies.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
