Job description

Artisan Partners is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical and business-minded student to join our Human Capital team as a Total Rewards Intern. The intern will support the Total Rewards team across benefits, compensation, HR systems and reporting, gaining hands-on experience with the programs and processes that support our Associates.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in human resources, finance, analytics or business operations to gain practical experience while working alongside members of our Human Capital team. The position is designed to continue throughout the school year and summer, with hours structured around the student's academic schedule.
Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to:
  • Support the administration of Associate benefits programs, including eligibility reviews, enrollments, documentation and other recurring processes
  • Assist with data reconciliation, audits and reporting related to compensation and benefits programs
  • Assist with compensation-related analysis, data preparation and recurring reporting
  • Support HR systems and data management activities, including data validation, report preparation and maintenance of Associate information
  • Support recurring Human Capital processes and administrative activities as needed
  • Participate in special projects and other Human Capital initiatives based on business needs and demonstrated proficiency
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in human resources, business, or a related field and will possess:
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an interest in working with data, reporting and HR systems
  • A proactive, resourceful approach to problem solving and a willingness to learn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A service-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively with members of the Human Capital team and other internal stakeholders
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Ability to learn new concepts, processes and systems quickly

Candidates should be available to work part-time throughout the academic year and summer, with scheduling flexibility around academic commitments.
