Human Resources Generalist โ€“ West Henrietta, NY

Under the guidance of the HR Director, administer programs such as benefits, employment, recruiting, onboarding/new hire orientation, and other HR functions.

Responsibilities
  • Keep accurate records and process employee information in and outside of Workday (HRIS).
  • Accurately input, maintain, file and report all employee data, including HRIS and security system maintenance.
  • Process payroll related changes and communicate with payroll partner through current processes.
  • Administer and manage all leaves of absence, including workerโ€™s compensation.
  • Process new hires and terminations, and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Administer temporary staffing process from approved requisition through onboarding.
  • Recruit for assigned open positions by placing ads, sourcing and reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews with managers.
  • Conduct new hire orientation.
  • Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment and wellness screening.
  • Assist with annual engagement survey processes.
  • Provide customer service for operations associates related to general work issues and systems support.
  • Escalate serious issues as needed.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of all new hire, medical, and current/terminated employee data and files.
  • Administer company communication program, including new hire postings, internal job opportunity program, employee referral program, and regulatory postings.
  • Create and generate reports for internal use, communication to parent company, and regulatory purposes.
  • Support timely input of workers compensation and OSHA reporting in the safety system (Archer).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associateโ€™s or bachelorโ€™s degree in an applicable field or equivalent experience.
  • 1โ€“3 years of prior applicable HR experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential employee and business information.
  • Original thinking and ingenuity to solve problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Workday HRIS preferred.
  • Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
Compensation & Benefits

Compensation range: $54,200.00 โ€“ $81,400.00, depending on experience. Eligible for performanceโ€‘based bonus plan.

Benefits include health benefits, 401(k) retirement savings with company match, PTO, and other U.S. offerings.
