The Clinical Data Manager plays a critical role in supporting the ALO CIN and ACO by transforming complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that drive performance, quality, and operational success. This position blends healthcare expertise, advanced analytics, and technical problem-solving to support strategic initiatives across clinical and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management

  • Lead all aspects of data acquisition, ingestion, normalization, storage, and archival across clinical, claims, payer, and operational data sources
  • Maintain and organize data repositories in accordance with departmental naming conventions, version control, and documentation standards
  • Monitor inbound and outbound data connections, including MFT sites, to ensure timely, accurate, and complete data delivery

Reporting & Performance Insights

  • Perform advanced analytics and reporting using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and RStudio
  • Monitor and analyze Milliman MedInsight data and reports, translating findings into actionable insights for leadership and operational teams
  • Develop data-driven performance improvement plans aligned with payer contract specifications, supporting initiatives related to:
    • Quality performance
    • Cost management
    • Utilization trends
    • Risk adjustment
    • Patient attribution
    • Shared savings
  • Respond to internal requests for information by gathering, analyzing, and presenting data in a clear and meaningful format

Analytics Oversight & Data Quality

  • Oversee data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure accurate data representation within Epic and downstream reporting systems
  • Conduct data audits and root-cause analyses to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor data-sharing workflows and security processes to ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational data governance standards
  • Maintain and update data-sharing and security plans annually

Additional Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of healthcare systems, operations, and innovation to continuously improve analytics processes and reporting impact
  • Serve as a technical and analytics subject matter expert supporting Alo CIN initiatives
  • Support additional organizational priorities and special projects as assigned

Targeted candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, along with experience in data science and analytics, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Clinical Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
