Job description

Business Intelligence Analyst - 1

Position Overview: As a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant for e-Emphasys ERP, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the implementation of BI and analytics systems. You will work closely with our team of professionals, assisting in designing, implementation and modeling data warehouse systems, developing BI reporting and analysis applications, and supporting our business teams and customers in achieving their objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement both internally and externally data-driven processes and monitoring functions related to Inventory Control, Fleet Management, Supply Chain Management, or Finance & Accounting.
  • Collaborate with our team to design customer focused analytics in dashboards and or reporting formats as the contract defines using BI visualization and modeling tools.
  • Assist in the development of BI reporting and analysis applications using tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.
  • Learn to provide optimal and cost-effective solutions to business teams in achieving their objectives.
  • Support project managers in developing project plans, including budgets, timelines, and forecasts. For future and current customers.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, is preferred.
  2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Proven problem-solving abilities and a passion for helping others.
  4. Strong interest in Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics systems.
  5. Familiarity with SaaS products and cloud-based technologies preferred.
  6. Eagerness to learn and contribute to business intelligence, data analytics, metrics, and reporting.
  7. Familiarity with BI visualization and modeling tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, etc. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience is a plus
  8. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy and strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
