Job Summary

Direct Support Professionals(DSPs) provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping them live independently, safely, and meaningfully in their communities. This is a rewarding entry-level healthcare and human services role with paid training and growth opportunities. No prior experiencerequired.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routines

  • Assistwith personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans

  • Transport andaccompanyindividuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activities

  • Encourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and personal interests

  • Support individuals in learning life skills, job skills, and community participation

  • Complete habilitation activities andrequireddocumentation accurately and on time

  • Follow all health, safety, behavioral, and individual support plans

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19years of age

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance

  • Reliable vehicle for transportation during shifts

  • Ability to pass required background checks

  • Ability to complete job-related training and certifications

  • No degree or prior experiencerequired. Paid training is provided.
