Purpose
The Brand Ambassador is the face and voice of Bo Lacey Construction in the field and community — representing our world-class brand, creating meaningful connections, and helping turn customers into lifelong advocates.
This role bridges marketing and customer experience, combining proactive field engagement, referral generation, and community visibility to grow brand awareness and ensure every homeowner interaction reflects Bo Lacey’s commitment to Doing What’s Right, Delivering World-Class Work, and Operating as a Championship Team.
Core Responsibilities
Field Responsibilities (In-Season: March–October)
- Represent Bo Lacey Construction professionally in all homeowner interactions.
- Conduct visits to active and recently completed installations:
- Deliver customer gift baskets and explain contents.

- Capture after-photos and short customer testimonial videos.

- Confirm that company yard signs are in plain view.

- Conduct a light walk-around quality check, confirming customer satisfaction and cleanliness of the site; document any issues for the Project Manager.

- Present Bo Lacey Referral Gift Cards ($100 value) to satisfied customers.
- Encourage customers to use the card toward a future project or gift it to friends/family.

- Collect names and contact info of referrals using the “Who could benefit from this gift?” approach.

- Record all referrals in AccuLynx for follow-up by the sales team.

- Engage in proximity canvassing around job sites:
- Door-knock and leave branded sticky notes and flyers.

- Introduce Bo Lacey’s services and collect interest/referral leads.

- Obtain customer consent to share photos/testimonials for marketing purposes.
- Document all customer interactions, referrals, and reviews in AccuLynx daily.
- Present or mail warranties depending on timing of customer visit.
Office Responsibilities (Year-Round)
- Prepare and plan for upcoming field days:
- Research current installations scheduled for the week.

- Organize and prepare customer gift baskets and materials.

- Create canvassing maps around current projects.

- Ensure flyers, sticky notes, forms, and marketing collateral are stocked.

- Serve as call-center backup on Mondays and during high-volume periods — answer inbound calls, qualify leads, and schedule appointments in AccuLynx.
- Maintain organized digital and physical marketing materials for field use.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team on social content and photo usage.
Event & Community Marketing (Off-Season: November–February)
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule all Bo Lacey events for the upcoming year:
- Home shows, fairs, golf/outdoor expos, and community festivals across all markets.

- Manage logistics including applications, booth layout, and setup.

- Complete a 12-month master event calendar by January 31 each year.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to ensure event selections align with budget and brand strategy.
- Maintain vendor and sponsorship relationships.
- Track event leads and follow-ups in AccuLynx.
Required Skills & Tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident engaging with homeowners.
- Ability to represent brand values and create positive experiences.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar), and Canva (Preferred).
- Basic photography and videography skills (mobile-based).
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Ability to lift and transport event and marketing materials.
Travel
- Frequent travel across all Bo Lacey Construction markets (company vehicle provided).
- Occasional evening and weekend hours for events and homeowner visits.

Compensation
- $15.00/hour
- $100 reward for each qualified customer referral submitted/outbound appt scheduled
- Shared company vehicle for field use.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday, with flexibility for evenings/weekends during events.
- Minimum 3 days in the field, 4 preferred during peak season (March–October).
- Focus shifts to event planning and marketing coordination during winter (November–February).
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Customers consistently leave five-star reviews and refer new leads.
- Every jobsite visited has visible signage, strong neighborhood engagement, and a satisfied homeowner.
- Gift baskets, warranties, and follow-up materials are delivered accurately and on time.
- Event schedule is complete and driving measurable lead flow.
- The Brand Ambassador consistently upholds Bo Lacey’s world-class image and culture in the field and online.
