Position Overview

Mash Construction LLC is seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Management Intern to assist with residential new construction and remodeling projects throughout the Greater New Orleans area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction management student, architecture student, or individual pursuing a career in residential construction, project management, or real estate development. The intern will work directly with ownership and gain hands-on experience managing active residential construction projects in the field.

This role is ideal for someone who wants real-world experience beyond a desk job and is eager to learn how residential construction projects are actually managed day-to-day.

Responsibilities

The Construction Management Intern will assist with:

  • Visiting active residential construction and remodeling job sites
  • Coordinating and communicating with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Assisting with project scheduling and daily workflow management
  • Monitoring job progress and reporting updates to ownership
  • Ensuring job sites remain clean, organized, and professional
  • Verifying subcontractors are completing work according to plans and expectations
  • Creating punch lists and tracking incomplete items
  • Assisting with material deliveries and logistics coordination
  • Taking site photos/videos and maintaining project documentation
  • Helping maintain quality control and job site safety standards
  • Serving as a field representative for Mash Construction projects
