Job description

About Integrated Biosciences
At Integrated, we are focused on advancing small molecule therapeutics for age-related diseases. We have built a first-of-its-kind discovery platform at the intersection of phenotypic models of aging, chemistry, and AI. Backed by top-tier VCs, and with recent publications in Cell (2025), Nature (2024), Nature Aging (2023), and Nature Protocols (2025), we're rapidly expanding our senior scientific team to accelerate our growing pipeline.
About the Role
We're seeking a driven full-stack software engineer to join us at this pivotal moment. In this role, you'll work with engineers and scientists to build tooling that drives our drug discovery pipeline forward.
As one of the early engineers on the team, you'll have the opportunity to make an outsized impact on both our technology and the way we operate. We're open to candidates across a range of experience levels, but we care deeply about being hands-on, moving quickly, and shipping high-quality systems.
With AI, we operate on the timescale of days, not weeks. If you're passionate about improving human health and can build reliable software quickly, we want to hear from you.
You will
  • Partner closely with scientists to understand novel problems in drug discovery and develop software solutions to solve these problems at scale
  • Improve and optimize existing software to support our rapidly growing team
  • Build bespoke tools for complex problems in wet-lab experimental design and automation, computational drug discovery, and data science
  • Integrate these tools into our broader AI agent harness to directly accelerate drug development for age-related diseases

You're a good fit if you have (required)
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Experience architecting and building full stack systems, from database and backend infrastructure to frontend applications
  • Ability to provision, deploy, and manage cloud resources and infrastructure such as Docker, Vercel, AWS, and bare metal
  • Fluency in leveraging AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Opencode, and Grok to build software quickly
  • Eagerness to learn more about drug discovery and how software and AI can improve the process

Bonus Points For
  • Experience building infrastructure and tooling around AI processes and agents (post-training, MCP servers, skills, automations, harnesses, etc.)
  • Familiarity with robotics/hardware automation (ROS2, path planning, hardware orchestration)
  • Familiarity with our software stack (Postgres, Typescript, React, modern backend and frontend frameworks)
  • Experience with computational chemistry and/or biology
  • Great design sense to build tools with great UX for our researchers

Location & Logistics
  • Visa sponsorship available where applicable. We'll work with you to make it happen.
  • This role will be located at Redwood LIFE in Redwood City, CA, a modern and stunning life sciences complex in the Bay Area.
  • Start date: immediate.
  • We are an equal-opportunity employer and strongly encourage applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Compensation & benefits
We offer a highly competitive salary, substantial equity, and comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental coverage, company-provided lunch, 401k match, and others.
