Job description

Charlotte Metro | Patriot Freight Group

This role is for builders, competitors, and people who want to control their income.

This is a great fit if you are the kind of person who has always had to hustle. Maybe you worked through school, played competitive sports, served in the military, waited tables, bartended, sold something, or balanced multiple responsibilities while still finding a way to perform.

You do not need logistics experience to succeed here. We can teach you freight. What we cannot teach is drive, urgency, resilience, accountability, and the desire to win.

This role is not for someone who wants a comfortable desk job, waits to be told what to do, avoids the phone, gives up after rejection, or wants a guaranteed outcome without putting in the work.

If you want ownership, competition, coaching, and a real opportunity to build a career based on your own performance, Patriot Freight Group may be the right place for you.

Build a book of business. Build a career. Build your future.

At Patriot Freight Group, our mission is simple: empowered people, proven processes, and modern technology delivering dependable logistics outcomes for our customers, carriers, and our team.

Our vision is to simplify logistics. Customers need their goods delivered without the stress of managing every step of the journey. That is where we come in.

As a Logistics Account Executive, you will learn how to build and manage your own book of business, develop customer relationships, negotiate with customers and carriers, and solve real-time logistics challenges.

This is not just a job. It is an opportunity to operate like a business owner inside the business.

Why ambitious people join Patriot Freight Group

Unlimited earning potential

Start with a $36,000 base salary plus uncapped commission with earning potential of 10%-25%. Top performers have a clear path to earning up to $100,000+.

Ownership mentality

You will manage your own customers, build your own book of business, and directly influence your income and career path.

Paid training and mentorship

You will receive up to six months of paid training, hands-on coaching, and real-world mentorship to help you learn the business the right way.

High-energy team culture

You will be part of a collaborative, competitive team environment where people push each other, support each other, and expect accountability.

Career-building skills

You will develop high-value skills in sales, negotiation, communication, problem-solving, customer service, and resilience.

What you'll do
  • Prospect and build relationships with new customers
  • Develop, grow, and manage a profitable book of business
  • Source and qualify sales opportunities through outbound calls and follow-up
  • Negotiate rates with customers and carriers
  • Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery
  • Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal team members
  • Solve problems quickly when shipments, timelines, or expectations change
  • Manage accounts receivable and keep your book of business profitable
  • Strengthen customer and carrier relationships to create repeat business
Who we are looking for

You may be a strong fit if you are:

  • Competitive and motivated by results
  • Comfortable making calls and starting conversations
  • Resilient when you hear "no"
  • Coachable and willing to learn a proven process
  • Organized enough to manage multiple moving pieces
  • Confident communicating with different types of people
  • Accountable for your results without blaming circumstances
  • Energized by a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Interested in building a long-term career, not just collecting a paycheck

The best candidates often come from backgrounds in sales, hospitality, restaurants, bartending, athletics, military service, customer-facing work, or other environments that require hustle, multitasking, and pressure-tested communication.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Previous work experience with strong references preferred
  • Sales, hospitality, customer service, restaurant, athletics, military, or leadership experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, phone-heavy, performance-based role
Schedule

Initially, this role works Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. As your book of business grows, your schedule can adapt based on customer needs and your business priorities.

Our core values

Accountability

We own our commitments and deliver on every promise.

Integrity

Honesty and transparency guide every decision we make.

Resilience

We adapt, overcome, and thrive no matter the challenge.

Ready to take control of your future?

If you are hungry, competitive, coachable, and ready to build something of your own, apply today to join Patriot Freight Group as a Logistics Account Executive.
