Job description

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing food and beverage operations at the various outlets onsite at Hawks Cay Resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences that align with brand standards. This role leads service excellence, profitability, team development, and operational efficiency across restaurants, bars, banquets, in-room dining, and special events.
Primary Responsibilities
Operations & Guest Experience
  • Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring consistent service standards.
  • Deliver personalized, memorable guest experiences and promptly resolve guest concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Collaborate with Culinary leadership to maintain high-quality menus and presentation.

Leadership & Team Management
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor F&B staff to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and service excellence across all outlets.
  • Ensure grooming, etiquette, and service protocols reflect luxury brand standards.

Financial & Cost Control
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Control food, beverage, and labor costs while maximizing revenue and profitability.
  • Analyze sales data, guest feedback, and market trends to drive improvements.

Standards, Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards, SOPs, and quality assurance programs.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and operational documentation.
  • Lead inspections, audits, and certifications as required.

Qualifications
  • At least two (2) years of restaurant/banquet experience
  • Prior leadership experience, preferred
  • Hotel experience, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Prior experience with Micros is a plus
  • Serve Safe Certification
  • TIPS Certification
  • Desire to grow career in hospitality
  • Flexible / adaptable with flexible scheduling working nights, weekends and holidays
  • Able to work outside in sun/humidity and warm temperatures. Outlet is tied to weather pattern
  • Ability to lift more than 50lbs consistently
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team with positivity and high energy
