This is a full time 12 hour night shift schedule to include every 3rd weekend rotation and a holiday rotation.
If you are an ER nurse who enjoys pediatric patients, come learn about the depth of support and resources we have in the pediatric hospital setting.
Looking for staff to join our EDTC team in Fall 2026
Not considering new grads at this time.
Prefer candidates with Emergency Department RN experience OR those with at least a year of RN experience in an acute hospital setting.
Must be comfortable committing long term to working 12 hour night shifts
As a Children's ER nurse, you can practice your specialty at the region's only independent health system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children. We're a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center with highly specialized facilities, services and care for kids, and we see more than 60,000 emergency/trauma visits each year.
Responsibilities include being a partner in the care management team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care and delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience). A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - American Heart Association (AHA) training is required within 90 days.
