Job description

In Information Technology Clinical at Main Campus Park Place North
Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday- Friday 8am-5pm.
Summary:
The Epic Credentialed Trainer delivers effective and functional Epic Training to new hire and other end users in assigned Epic applications working to maximize learning and retention with their students. Students may include providers, clinicians, and non-clinical staff depending on specialization areas. This role works closely with the Epic Principal Trainers for their applications to learn principles of adult learning, effective classroom teaching, and how to use specific areas of Epic. They will go through a rigorous credentialing program meeting Epic's detailed requirements for a trainer including having to present in front of a panel of experts to demonstrate their Epic knowledge, ability to handle questions, and classroom teaching style. Once credentialed, they are expected to deliver the lessons as written meeting the needs of the organization and the new users. They will also assist in the validation of new Epic Training materials/lessons, competency assessments, and quarterly upgrade communications. The Credentialed Trainer will be a primary member of the Epic support team, rounding in ends users operational areas when not in classes and also may be called to assist an end user needing immediate assistance.
