Position Summary:

The Entry-Level Project Engineer will assist in coordinating engineering projects related to gas turbine component design, manufacturing, and inspection. This position provides hands-on experience across multiple disciplines — from design and quality to production and project management. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter eager to learn, with a strong foundation in mechanical or aerospace engineering and a passion for the energy and power generation industry.


Responsibilities:
  • Support project engineers and managers in planning, documentation, and execution of engineering projects for gas turbine components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and manufacturing, to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

  • Assist in preparing 3D models and technical reports using NX CAD and related software.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project progress.

  • Track project milestones, update schedules, and help identify potential risks or delays.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to design, process flow, and documentation.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (or currently completing final coursework).

  • Internship or project experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or gas turbine systems preferred.

  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (NX preferred).

  • Basic knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing principles.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to export control regulations (ITAR).
