Job description

The Advanced Programs and Exploitation (APEX) team within Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a skilled software engineer to support ongoing programs and internal research and development efforts focused on remote sensing data processing, exploitation applications, and simulations.
In this position, you will work on designing, developing, testing, and integrating software for remote sensing payload mission processing and edge processing hardware. This position involves design, development, maintenance, and testing of largely C++ with some Python code. This role will be developing new mission processing applications and working with legacy code utilized leveraged in other enterprise applications.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing software applications in C++ and other languages
Maintain & enhance existing code bases
Troubleshooting and debugging issues with embedded software applications
Integrate, debug, and optimize software in cross functional teams
Drive CI/CD - build, test, and deploy pipelines
Contribute to simulation environments that support algorithm validation
Document design decisions, code, and test results
This position is located in our offices in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
