JOB SUMMARY
Entry level position: Performs light duty repairs on AMR fleet vehicles, assist senior mechanics and provides logistical support as assigned
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
โ€ข Performs Light mechanical and electrical repairs on AMR vehicles.
โ€ข Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
โ€ข Provides logistical support for the department. Assists Front Line Mechanics as needed.
โ€ข Operates company vehicles in accordance with company policy and safe
โ€ข practices.
โ€ข Completes all required paperwork and documentation neatly, correctly, and on time using AMR repair orders.
โ€ข Uses maintenance data base to document all completed tasks / job assignments.
โ€ข Attend all mandatory Fleet related training.
โ€ข Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
โ€ข Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone's responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems.
โ€ข Vehicles repaired correctly and in a timely fashion.
โ€ข Responds to changing departmental priorities.
โ€ข Quickly respond, diagnose and repair vehicles during road call situations.
โ€ข Maintain safe and clean work area.
โ€ข Documentation complete and neat.
โ€ข Accurately account for all parts and materials.
โ€ข Maintain good working relationship with all personnel and professional conduct with outside contacts.
โ€ข Excellent customer service skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensing/Certification: Must have a current valid driver's license.
โ€ข Must have a High school diploma, or equivalent education.
โ€ข 1 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience.
โ€ข 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension.
โ€ข MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.
โ€ข Basic set of personal tools.
Experience:
โ€ข Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
โ€ข Ability to work independently and as a team member.
โ€ข Ability to employ discretion and confidentiality in sensitive areas.
โ€ข Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions on memos, letters, various documents and repair manuals.
โ€ข Ability to perform the essential job functions.
โ€ข Regular and predictable attendance.
โ€ข Basic automotive knowledge and skills necessary to perform maintenance and repairs on company vehicles.
