Member Service Specialist - (Austin, TX | On-Site)

What you will do as the Member Service Specialist

You will support members with everything from everyday teller transactions to account opening, digital banking, problem resolution, and consumer loan applications. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, learning new skills, and working as part of a close-knit team.

  • Process teller transactions and balance an assigned cash drawer
  • Open and maintain consumer deposit accounts, including checking, savings, certificates, and IRAs
  • Assist with debit cards, account research, disputes, and routine service requests
  • Help members use online banking, mobile banking, remote deposit, and other digital tools
  • Ask questions, identify needs, and recommend appropriate products and services
  • Take consumer loan applications and hand them off to the lending team for processing
  • Provide flexible support across teller and member-service functions

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Willingness to complete cross-training across teller and member-service responsibilities
  • Credit union or banking experience and bilingual English and Spanish skills preferred
