Job Description

As a Field Geologist on the Geotechnical team, you will independently oversee subsurface exploration including drilling operations, soil/rock sampling, identification, field logging, geophysical testing, pile load testing, and geotechnical materials testing on a variety of projects primarily centered around renewable energy (wind and solar) and data centers. You will also prepare detailed field notes, logs, and reports summarizing findings and interpretations, and collaborate with engineers on multidisciplinary projects.

You will travel to various job sites both in-state and across the country and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • The ability to travel 75% or more, and work on remote developments.
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
