Your role and responsibilities
As an Associate Application Developer at IBM, you'll help organizations transform how they serve customers, improve operations, and accelerate digital innovation through modern applications and cloud technologies.
No two projects are exactly alike. You could support healthcare, financial services, public sector, federal sector, automotive, energy, retail, industrial, or manufacturing clients. You'll gain hands-on project experience, professional and technical mentoring, career coaching, industry-recognized certifications, and exposure to emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and automation.

As a parte of Oracle practice, focused on helping organizations modernize and optimize enterprise business processes through Oracle applications that support finance, supply chain, human resources, procurement, enterprise performance, and digital transformation.
Each practice represents a specialized team focused on helping clients solve different business challenges through leading technologies, industry expertise, and consulting. No two projects are exactly alike, you could support clients across healthcare, financial services, public sector, federal sector, automotive, energy, retail, industrial, or manufacturing industries. You'll gain hands-on project experience, professional and technical mentoring, career coaching, industry-recognized certifications, and exposure to emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and automation.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

• Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java, SQL, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, databases, APIs, cloud computing, and enterprise applications.
• Exposure to application development, data, or cloud-related projects through coursework, internships, research, or personal learning.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools.
• Curiosity about enterprise technologies, Artificial Intelligence, cloud solutions, and digital transformation.

For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
