Entry-Level Field Network Technician
Portland, OR Area | Full-Time | Field-Based | Pay: $18 - $21 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an Entry-Level Field Network Technician to join our service team supporting the Portland, OR area. This is a field-based role with a possible territory near you, as we service Portland and surrounding communities.
Required Skills & Knowledge
  • Knowledge of network connectivity, network security, and Wi-Fi environments
  • Working understanding of Windows environments and common operating systems
  • Ability to work with a wide range of customers and vendors (technical and non-technical)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to gather and clarify technical information
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented problem solver
  • Ability to travel locally to client sites
  • Comfortable communicating via phone, email, and written documentation

Qualifications
  • Previous network or field experience preferred but not required
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, ports, SMTP, FTP, SMB, etc.)
  • Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft applications
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record (must be 21 or older)

Bonus Skills
  • Familiarity with Mac OS environments
  • CompTIA Network+ certification
  • Experience working alongside IT professionals
