Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
โ€ข 0-2 years of experience.
โ€ข Pursuit of or have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam a plus.
โ€ข Understanding of design software; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
โ€ข Basic ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations (NESC, ASCE, IEEE).
โ€ข Developing analytical and organizational skills, with growing attention to detail and a willingness to learn problem-solving approaches.
โ€ข Adaptable and eager to learn, with a foundational ability to collaborate with project teams in a multi-discipline environment.
โ€ข Developing written and verbal communication skills with a strong willingness to learn and engage effectively with team members.
โ€ข Valid Driverโ€™s License is required.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Assist in designing distribution ( lt;600 V to 35 kV) systems using design software.
โ€ข Learn and apply design codes and specifications related to design requirements.
โ€ข Assist with drawing development and CAD-based design tasks.
โ€ข Engage in mentorship and structured learning opportunities with experienced engineers to build foundational skills.
โ€ข Responsible for ensuring the quality of your own work through self-review and adherence to established standards.
โ€ข Support client interactions by communicating professionally and learning to understand client expectations.
โ€ข Support assigned tasks while learning to work within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
โ€ข Participate in occasional site walks for current projects.โ€ฏ Less than 5% travel.
