Job description

Data Entry Clerk (Entry Level)

Assisting with data entry for our main corporate office, including preparation of technical reports. Provide administrative and clerical support to the Report Analyst. A successful candidate will display ability to perform tasks independently, with a high degree of accuracy. They will be procedural in nature, with a mindset for problem solving.

Duties and Responsibilities

Office

  • Review and enter data into accounting systems
  • Prepare and sort documents for accounting
  • Create and maintain tracking logs
  • Review data received discrepancies and advise supervisor of findings
  • Operate standard office equipment
  • Answer telephone system and emails
  • Process customer reports in a timely manner
  • Perform general clerical work as assigned, including but not limited to:
    • Invoicing
    • Filing and organization
    • Record keeping

Skills Required

  • Dependability
  • Accurate typist with a strong eye for detail
  • Clear oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience a plus
  • Developed administrative / organizational skills
