Job description

Trenam Law is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to join our Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Practice Group. This position will focus on managing a busy commercial foreclosure caseload and supporting attorneys in all aspects of creditors' rights and foreclosure matters.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Correspond with clients and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate hearings, deadlines, and case schedules.
  • Interface with state courts throughout Florida.
  • Prepare and file court documents.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate case records.
  • Assist attorneys with all phases of commercial foreclosure proceedings.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience handling commercial foreclosure matters and familiarity with foreclosure procedures.
  • Knowledge of Florida state court systems and filing requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates with a Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation or who are qualified to obtain certification are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will either possess the FRP designation or be willing to pursue certification as soon as eligible.
